Camera Arts magazine http://www.cameraarts.com features Ron in an article in the January/February issue titled A Special Way of Seeing (pp. 48-50). It is illustrated with a few of his recent photographs from Iceland. The article discusses discovering a personal style of photographing.

Tami Bone [Austin] was one of five artists selected to win a merit award in the Currents 2007 All Member Exhibition at the Rockport Center for the Arts in Rockport. She will have 10 new pieces in a group show with the four other award winners in August 2008.

Santa Fe-based Rahli Designs, Inc. has been invited to participate in the 2008 Architectural Digest Home Design Show at Pier 94 in New York, March 6-9. One of the highlights of Rahli’s offerings will be a custom 10’ x 12' rug which is an interpretation of an original photograph by Trish Simonite [San Antonio].
Paul Wainwright [Cambridge, MA] exhibited his work in a solo show Empty Spaces in Harvard University’s Three Columns Gallery.
The opening exhibition of Identities is being held at the Cecil & Ida Green Center. This photography exhibition represents the first featuring works in the Comer Collection, housed by the University of Texas at Dallas. This selection of more than twenty works from The Jerry and Marilyn Comer [Richardson] Collection represents nationally and internationally recognized artists, and includes several classic images from the history of photography. On view are photographs by Gay Block, Nan Goldin, Earlie Hudnall, Jr., Martina Lopez, Anne Noggle, Gordon Parks, Mark Riboud, Andres Serrano, Cindy Sherman, and Hulleah Tsinhnahjinnie. The Comer Collection is comprised of almost 100 photographs, dating from 1934 to the present, along with supporting research materials, books, journals, and catalogues.

Paul Weiner's [Newburyport, MA] recently was awarded 1st place in the Photo Review’s 23rd International Photography Competition, and the award of Best of Show in two juried competitions The Newburyport Art Association’s 10 Annual Regional Juried Show, and the Linnets’ Works on Paper (Lynn, MA). In addition, his flashlight portraits were selected for 1212 Gallery’s National Juried Photography Exhibition 2007, Richmond, VA and Project Basho’s ONWARD ’08 national juried exhibition, Philadelphia, PA.
